Constitution and By-law changes

To be discussed during the September General Meeting and Voted upon at the Annual General Meeting following the September General Meeting

PROPOSED NEW CHAPTER 11 for CONSTITUTION

11. WHEN DELEGATE MEMBERSHIP ENDS

There will be no talking over other delegates or interjections, no video- taping, no troublesome behavior and, if un-cooperative with direction from the management committee, that person will be removed immediately from the meeting and future meetings for a period of 60 days.

The management committee may terminate the attendance and participation of a member’s club delegate, if that delegate conducts himself, or herself in a way considered to be injurious or prejudicial to the character or interest of the Association.

The member club has the right to appoint a replacement delegate.

Notice - COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS INTRODUCED 22ND AUGUST 2020

Due to the New Covid-19 restrictions bought in today by the Queensland Government that limit gatherings to 10 people, the QHMC Committee has decided to CANCEL the August General Meeting scheduled for Thursday the 27th August 2020.

At the moment any future meetings including the AGM are To Be Advised.

More information to follow when the Committee has a clearer idea of what’s ahead.
